Business Rep/ Financial-Secretary-Treasurer Election-The Election will be held on November 8, 2007 at the Kansas City General Area Meeting at 5:30 pm. Absentee ballots can be requested up to seven days before the election.

Congratulations to the following Local 12 Apprentices for passing the Mechanic Exam held in September: Kevin Crossland, Richard Dalman, Gregg Laney, Brent Mayer, Doug Price, Aaron Pykiet, Jerry Reasoner, Gil Scholler, Shawn Swisher.

Congratulations to new Local 12 initiate, Michael Reasoner. Brother Reasoner was initiated at the October 11^th General Meeting and works for Thyssen Krupp.

Condolences to the family of Russell “Beetle” Bailey. Brother Bailey passed away on October 3, 2007. Brother Bailey started in the trade in August 1970 and retired in April 1997. He worked for Otis Elevator.
