Congratulations to new Local 12 initiates, Chet Boisen, Rodney Brandenburg and Geff Noyes. Jason Stout was reinitiated. All were initiated at the June 12, 2008 General Meeting.

3^rd Quarter Member Dues -Quarterly dues are payable in advance before the first day of the first month of each quarter. A statement will be sent to all members with the amount owed for dues. Checks or money orders accepted for dues.

Member News

Annual Local 12 Picnic will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Longview Lake Shelter House #9 beginning at 11:00 AM. Local 12 will provide the meats and drinks. Please bring your favorite covered dish. Bring your bats and gloves for softball. There will be games and prizes for the kids. Hope to see everyone there!!!

Reminder: The Local 12 office is still missing Death Benefit Information Forms from several members and retirees. The Local 12 office cannot obtain beneficiary information from the benefits office due to the Protected Health Information policy. Contact the Local 12 office if you need a form.

All construction, modernization, HOLE DRILLING AND jobs that last 3 or more days are to be called in to the Local 12 office.

Apprentices

Mechanic Exam-If you plan on sitting for the mechanic exam your written request must to submitted to the Local 12 office by June 30, 2008.

Apprentices-remember to continue submitting your monthly work process reports during the summer months.

Retirees

Congratulations to Brother John Bullard SR on his retirement. Brother Bullard started in the trade in September 1985 and retired on June 1, 2008.
